Theatre Etiquette
- Arrive early. If you are late, you may be held in the lobby until an appropriate time for seating. Latecomers disturb performers and audience members, so it is best to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to showtime.
- Take care of any needs, as you should not leave your seat until intermission or end of performance.
- Be seated in your assigned seat, in order not to cause confusion to other patrons.
- Turn off all cell phones (not just silenced). They are distracting, and also interfere with our wireless sound system. We encourage social media usage, but please do it at the appropriate time.
- Photography and video are strictly prohibited. Not only are they a distraction to performers and fellow patrons, but they also violate our licensing contracts.
- Please refrain from talking, humming, or singing along with the show, except when encouraged to do so by the act.
- Don’t be afraid to react appropriately: laughter and applause are part of the theatre experience.
- If you are in need of assistance during the show, please seek the nearest usher.
- Always wait until the actors take their final bows before leaving, and exit when the show is over.
- Outside food and beverage are not permitted.
- CHILDREN AND LIVE THEATRE: Attending a live performance can be a magical and memorable experience for children.
- Please take the time to select a proper show for children – check the individual show pages on our website for content advisories.
- Every child who attends must have their own ticket.
- Please leave infants at home with a sitter.
